9 Settembre 2018 (Pyongyang) - La parata è stata caratterizzata da molte unità dell’Esercito che a passo d’oca e perfettamente sincronizzate hanno lasciato la piazza ai gruppi civili, agli infermieri, agli studenti e ai lavoratori edili.

Alla fine della parata di due ore, Kim Jong Un ha alzato il braccio dell’inviato speciale cinese, Li Zhanshu, che è anche il terzo membro del Partito Comunista Cinese, in segno di ritrovata sintonia dell’antica amicizia tra i due popoli, anche se l’assenza del presidente cinese Xi Jinping potrebbe indicare che Pechino ha ancora qualche riserva sulle iniziative di Kim.

 di quest’anno sono state l’assenza dei missili balistici di ultima generazione e il tono, relativamente più soft, usato da Kim Yong Nam, capo del parlamento della Corea del Nord, nel suo discorso di apertura, in cui ha sottolineato gli obiettivi economici del regime, non la sua potenza nucleare, anzi ha invitato i militari a lavorare per costruire l’economia del Paese.

L’assenza di missili balistici a lungo raggio e intercontinentali, che lo scorso anno hanno infastidito il Presidente Trump, culminato con una raffica di insulti reciproci, è stata una scelta importante tesa ad allentare le tensioni tra i due Paesi. 

Nonostante il summit di Singapore, il dialogo sembra attraversare una fase di stallo. Il presidente Donald Trump, ha fatto sapere che Kim Jong Un gli ha inviato una lettera da cui si aspetta una risposta “positiva”. La lettera: è stata consegnata ieri al confine del 38esimo parallelo e recapitata a Mike Pompeo.

Domani Kim Jong Un incontrerà a Pyongyang il presidente della Corea del Sud Moon Jae-in per discutere di come muovere dal su accennato impasse sulle sue armi nucleari.

Nel suo messaggio, Xi Jinping ha affermato che in occasione del 70esimo anniversario della fondazione della Repubblica Democratica Popolare di Corea, a nome del Partito Comunista Cinese, del governo cinese, del popolo cinese e a nome suo, esprime calorose congratulazioni e un sincero augurio al presidente della Corea del Nord, e attraverso di lui, al Partito del Lavoro della Corea del Nord, al governo nordcoreano e al popolo nordcoreano.Xi Jinping ha affermato che, nei 70 anni trascorsi dalla fondazione della Repubblica Democratica Popolare di Corea, il popolo nordcoreano ha ottenuto un successo evidente nella causa della rivoluzione e della costruzione del socialismo.
